Vang Comp Yea or Nay ?

What is anyone's opinion on the Vang Comp barrel mods ?

I haven’t shot one but know people that have. If you aren’t shooting a lot of shots in a row/training, it’s not a huge difference maker. And if you DO shoot a lot, a 1301 or a Benelli M4 semi-auto may be better for recoil mitigation.
I do personally like the big head safety and the magazine follower though for the 870. YMMV though.

The patterns are insanely tight! I'm not sure in today's "Flite-Control" buckshot world it would be as big an advantage as it was pre Flite-Control, but it still throws a great pattern. The one I have will easily put all 8 pellets from a 000 buckshot load in the spread of one hand at 25 yards.

Am looking at the barrel porting services as I already have a Priamy Arms SLR red dot mounted so I would not need the ghost sights, the larger safety button and a new butt stock if the porting does not cut the recoil (Magpul/horge) are on the list .
