[QUOTE="dennishoddy, post: 2991614, member: 5412"] To continue watching HDTV if your satellite goes out during storms and such. (We have direct TV as well and have almost zero issues) go here to buy this 150 mile antenna that really works. We are 100 miles from the nearest broadcast station in Osage county SE of Ponca City, and I can get over 60 channels including the main OKC channels to watch weather, Wichita, and Tulsa channels. I have it mounted on a 6' piece of 3/4" PVC pipe shoved over a steel rod that is stuck into the ground right outside my shop. Its $36 bucks and includes a 360 degree remote control rotator, and 30 some feet of coax. I guarantee it works like a champ. I currently have it hooked up to a TV in my shop, and had a buddy come by for a visit that saw it, bought one and canceled his cable service. We bought it for our RV so when we get too far away from civilization and the built in antenna on the roof doesn't work any more, I can set this up in 5 minutes and pick up channels.
