[QUOTE="TerryMiller, post: 3258325, member: 7900"] Like a couple of others, I've preferred those where a short strip of string is inserted into a hole in the head and tugged on to set it in place. Carrying about a dozen extra lengths of string and a pair of pliers and a small Phillips head screwdriver makes things easy, and one never has to walk back to the garage or shed for restringing the trimmer. The pliers are to pull out any string left in the head after it breaks off and the screwdriver is for inserting into the hole, after removing the stub of string, to clear out anything left in the hole.
