There are also Geronimo's grave (not very impressive looking) and the Field Artillery Museum on Ft Sill. If the wives want to take in a movie the Carmike 8 on Cache Rd is a nice theater. Wayne's Drive-In restaurant is good (right next to the Carmike) for an authentic "old-fashioned" bit of local junk food. Ummm...Medicine Park isn't usually all that bad. Centraloklahoma ran into a bad day. The place is not normally crawling with work-gangs or dead fish smell - it is kind of a quaint small town with a sort of wannabe artsy-fartsy attitude. Look folks, this is Oklahoma. I have lived (that means for years at a time) in CA, NY (upstate and NY City), GA, NV, VA, NM, Korea, Germany, and the UK...and now OK and by-far OK is the most...uh...rustic. That doesn't mean it isn't nice, but do not expect to pop in to hear the philharmonic after going to the modern art exhibit in most of OK.
