:fullauto: I like it! Skip a step in processing, and make your sausage with your kill shot! My son will be using my suppressed .300 Blackout, likely. Some of ya'll might remember our fiasco lat year when the weather was crazy cold and we couldn't get it to fire - apparently between the cold and a rogue undetected metal shaving in the firing pin channel in the bolt, he dropped the hammer either 4 or 5 times trying to take a little buck, but it wouldn't fire. <sigh> It worked fine the day before at the range, but I guess the cold tightened things up enough to be problematic. :( Man, was he bummed... but that stupid little 4-pointer stood there 40 yards away while we cycled the action through almost a full 5-round mag trying to get a shot off. Won't happen again. :homer: Neighbor is going to bring his .308. He said just in case that monster buck shows up. I don't know if I'll bother to bring anything but a sidearm, personally. I have a 6.8 I haven't even ever fired... might throw a rear sight on that and bring it, just for the heck of it. I dunno.
