I had an opportunity to have dinner with Gov. Fallin weeks before she signed OC. I told her I didn't think it was a good idea because of the natural "shock" factor it has on many, especially children and ultra timid. Conversely, I voiced concerns about CC ghosting and stated OC may solve that. I've grown more appreciative of her insight to sign OC and I've even done it twice, once while retrieving camp supplies in full hunting camo in Nowata at Tractor Supply and Pizza Hut, and as one should expect, not a person even noticed. The next time I did it was when it was too hot for CC and I was running errands around Bartlesville on a motorcycle. A lot of people noticed that time and I didn't like making the some of them uncomfortable, as was obvious. We have to stand for our rights, but concurrently we have to be cognizant too. As a former Marine, I innately possess the ability to cuss like a sailor, but as a prominent business leader and Grandpa it's not appropriate, so I save it for when I'm alone in the field and my arrow blows through and is lost. I now will fight to retain OC and will probably only do it infrequently and probably not in downtown Tulsa or a city restaurant. Whataburger can have its stance, and I won't pitch a fit at them, may even still eat there too, but if there's an equally good burger down the way that never raised the issue, I know who I'll choose. Point being, I don't always like my customers and I know we don't all think the same, but those $$ all speak the same. Not that many customers are unlikable and there's not that many that choose to OC. The smart man rolls with it and votes with his $$ and ballots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
