Which Caliber Would You Keep?

look at the trend of folks dumping .40 in favor of 9mm.
like everything else ammo technology has moved on
now +P+ 9mm is available that evens ft lb energy available.

.45 for 1911 Gold Cup, 9mm for Glock 17, .357 for 340PD CCW
most every trip to Walmart brings home a bulk pack .45 or 9mm.

personally if it was me I'd keep the .40. But everyones arguments about 9mm and shtf are correct......BUT how many police depts issue pistols are .40??? quite a few

If that is your argument, then you should be overwhelmingly for the 9mm. How many militaries, police departments, security firms, etc. issue 9mm? I'd be surprised if it were less than 4:1 in favor of the 9.

As much as I am a 40 fan, I would keep the 9mm. It's a nato round and if the SHTF the 9mm is going to be more readily available.
