I picked up 1000 rounds in .223 for 289 delivered. Reviews seem good on the internet, anyone had any first hand experience with this stuff?
Its the same company that makes the budget Wolf steel cased ammo. The Wolf Gold is brass and non corrosive so it can be reloaded. What I've read on it says its made in Taiwan, I thought the regular wolf was made in Russia? Reviews are good so far and the price seems right.
Never seen any Wolf Gold locally,or would try it. Just the reg Wolf.
Fired a few boxes, seemed as good as any other .223 range ammo. Haven't tried reloading any of it so can't say anything in that regard.
Wolf Gold .223 is the best deal in ammo right now and everyone should have a couple of cases of this stuff sitting in storage. Even though they call it .223, it's actually XM193 5.56 ammo rebranded as .223 under Wolf Gold. The Taiwanese manufactured XM193 ammo originally was the backup source for ammo for the government when Federal / Lake City couldn't keep up with their XM193 production. This is basically Lake City XM193 ammo for about $50-$100 less.
