Just a note to add.

If you have pets or other critters (4-legged or 2) that may have the chance to create a liquid accident, I highly recommend getting a waterproof bed cover to put over the mattress and under your sheets.. Get one with padding, so it will let your skin still breather and doesn't make you get too hot.

You don't want any urine to get into the foam mattress. You'll never get it all out. Those mattresses aren't cheap.

A king size padded waterproof cover from target is only about $30.

We have one on ours, and it's saved us from some kitten accidents in the past.

We have one and I like it, she doesn't. She has not liked it from the day we got it home, just a little over a year. She likes a firmer mattress. I would recommend the water proof cover. Dogs vommited on the bed a couple of times and it saved it. Never really had any issues with getting to hot.

I have a tempurpedic king that each side is adjustable.
I wouldn't trade it for any other mattress.
I am not sure what the complaint about heat is mine doesn't get hot.
My back surgeon recommended it and my wife bought it.
They are high though. Retail on ours was about 7k

I have a Tempur HD Rhapsody in King size, ended up out the door at $3800, this bed DOES NOT GET HOT, my wife LOVES to crank the heat to 75-ish about now and I still love my down comforter.

The bed's that get hot are made of inferior wannabe materials and foam, only the Tempur Brand are made for space and designed in part by nasa so until you try the real thing don't go spewing misinformation about them being hot in the winter and double hot in the summer.

Mine is perfect year round in fact it breathes when we are lucky enough to have the egyptian cotton sheets on it (dog) so well that it helps regulate your body temp.

Buy a temperpedic and you won't be sorry. best investment me and the wife ever bought. yes they are expensive but if you have back problems once your body adjusts to the new bed you will be in heaven. I used to not be able to sleep through the night till i got one.

Memory foam is hot and you can't move that easily due to the valley it makes where you lay. It is comfy as long as you don't have to move. I had a custom made bed made from Latex foam which is more comfortable and cooler. It was also a lot cheaper and I got to design it myself and it has a 20 year warranty. I had it made at allied foam. They have some already made for you to check out in their showroom. 902 N Ann Arbor
