Maybe not. The military dislikes the direction this country is going in as much as we dislike it. Besides, isn't most of our military personnel from the "flyover" states.

I say that as one who would love to see us and Texas secede and be our own country.

I don't think it would be so easy. Look at how much trouble one rogue ex-police officer caused. I am amazed the police were so amped up to get Dorner, that they shot 3 innocent people.

One could just leave...or start up their own "United States" if they don't like the censorship.

I've always considered buying one of the deserted islands in the Bahama chain. Actually some have never been claimed. I thought I would set up a tent, declare war on the US, paddle a kayak close to the US shore, toss a dummy grenade, and surrender.

I'd get war reparations, funds to build an offshore casino, infrastructure, and so on.....I like my plan....
