Are we going to hear about this on the news tomorrow? There seems to be a whole lot of this going on.

If its reported, it becomes public record, and we can see the complaint? Please post it.

I've never been asked for anything other than my license and insurance card by any LEO in Oklahoma (or Texas or Missouri, for that matter), not that I get pulled over particularly often.

Usually when I get pulled over it's "Are you related to" then "you need to slow down sir".

Come to think of it, I think my company told us to start carrying the registration, but we were driving from Texas to Montana in those days.

I don't know if my son reported it, I didn't and I imagine my granddaughter only to her dad and me.

My son had called my wife to make sure my granddaughter had made it home (she lives with us).

He did call to see if there was any chance there was a pickup working I40, but I don't know if he called OHP or Washita or Custer counties. I think mile marker 60+ is out of Beckham county for sure.

Wow.......SOOOO glad it turned out ok. I always tell my wife if "LE" attempts to pull her over in anything unmarked, to turn her emergency flashers on to let them know she knows they are there and to immediately call 911 with the speaker phone active and ask them to check credentials and at the same time to head toward whatever is nearest, cop shop or fire department.

In MY view, LE should NEVER be doing and regular "traffic" stops in anything unmarked...that's rediculous in today's world...but it's been happening for quite a while and some people won't question it and try to do the "right" thing by pulling over. But Any jackwagon can order led bars and make a "cop" car, or truck.

Again...glad she's ok man!!

It was after dark and foggy so it may have been marked, but him driving off after her asking for a badge number makes me think no.

It could have been Ok. Lake patrol from Foss, they do have radar, but I40 is not their turf.

I agree 100% about the speaker phone.

Lake Patrol on Foss is an OHP officer and drives a black and white Tahoe and in fact has jurisdiction in ALL of Oklahoma. 68 mile marker that you referenced would be Custer County. 49-62ish is Washita County. Washita County does have officers in pick ups.

Yeah I'm assuming my son knows all of this since he's LEO. He did call to see if there were any pickups working I40. There weren't supposed to be and like I said calling in the tag number on that car would be a dead give away an LEO or close family would be driving it.
