My OSA Brothers, any suggestions on Cremations in the Tulsa area?

I know, morbid subject, but I need some guidance, and I know some may have been down this path.

You can PM me, or post here.

Thanks

Is there a Dignity Memorial Provider in your area? I'm in OKC and my wife and I have purchased our "holes in the wall" where we will be placed, the plaques, and the entire service.

One of the many features with Dignity Memorial...National Transferability of Prearranged Services. If you move to another state you don't have to be shipped back to the state you purchased your plan. If the state you are living in has a Dignity Memorial cemetery.......they will do their best to accommodate you at the state your currently living in. In other words.....transfer your plan to your current state.

We did this with Rose Hill here in OKC. Call them and ask for a reference in your area.

MMS funeral service here in Claremore does cremations. I think their facility is in Inola. You might want to check them out.

Where they bust the sod in South Tulsa County.
I used Floral Haven in 1999 for my Mom. They made me read and sign a document that went into morbidly graphic detail of the cremation process. It made me feel like they were trying to convince me to go with a traditional burial (read a lot expensive). I believe an overly emotional grieving family member might be talked out of it.

Thanks, I think the whole process tends to prey on the grieving family, we've been through this before, fortunately I am the voice of reason, and the wishes of the deceased in this case are very clear.

One thing this has brought home for me, is do your Family a favor, put all of this in place before you need it.
