While there is some truth to your statement, these banquets help promote and support youth shooting sports and that's something that I can support.
Yes they do. Our gun clubs junior club for kids gets grants from them for ammo and gear.
Our women on target program gets a grant for ammo from them as well.
There are several other programs they support in Oklahoma.
I'd like to go on record that I'm completely against the shooting of children, I don't care if it's for sport. It's kinda alarming that you support that.
Really? Those crying, snot nosed, Disney watching, sniveling, rat faced little farts running around head butting grown men in the nuts and leaving peanut butter and jelly finger prints on every surface of the house. How could you not support that?

This a common misconception, The NRA doesn't get this money, Almost all of it stays right here in Oklahoma to help fund shooting programs for groups like Boy Scouts, and FFA shooting programs, Women on Target, The Eddie Eagle program, etc... What little bit of money that does go to the NRA headquarters is for advertising for the Friends of the NRA.
It is not a scam, I've gone to 3 events and won a $450 dollar pistol. As you can see from the other posts the donations go to a good cause, stop b!tch!ng.
