But one can be assured he probably won’t and it will be squandered on other nefarious issues.

An acorn didn’t cause all that trouble. A LEO that either just had a hairy experience and was still pumped up from it. Or he is just afraid of his own shadow and walks around on edge all the time.One little acorn caused this much trouble?

Either way. Qualified immunity is a little to blame for this as well.
not going to protect him here. he can and should be charged and can be sued.
