you should also look at the VZ58's. They look like AK's but the parts are NOT interchangeable. Not even the mags. But they are good guns.

You may also want to check classicarms.com and jgsales.com for price check but buying locally would be the way to go so you can check it out as the quality control on these are a hit or miss. Saiga would be another good one if you have time to convert it to a pistol grip and a regular ak buttstock.
