Update:
I received some photos of the cans. The insides seem to be in great shape. The outsides seem to have a little surface rust and dirt/dust. I am no expert so what do you guys think, would these be worth paying $8-$9 a piece for?

They bid on auctions at McAap. The auctions are on sites like liquidation.gov and so forth. Just google government auctions. Careful, it can be addictive flipping through all that crap...

you have to buy 4 pallets lol ummm that's almost 2k in ammo cans

Nope... ad says UP TO 4 pallets, and you get a price break at 5 or more. I wish I could fit a pallet in my Tahoe... wonder if I can get an idea on dimensions? I'm sure it won't fit. Although if I break the bands, we could load them all in there. I wouldn't be willing to do more than one pallet to start, but I could use 20 or so, I think.
