I haven't brewed beer, but have been making wine for a little while now.
The advantage to that is making it to what you like, (more dry or sweet).
Now if I have to resort to store bought wine, it's always a disappointment.

That is my wife's favorite also.

my earliest batch was about 5 years ago. The first year, it was a little green, the second, it took on charactar. The third year it was at its peak, and folks said it was some of the best wine whatever they ever had. the 4th and 5th year it went to cooking wine only. I've got batches working all the time, and will never go past the 3rd year for drinking.

Try a blonde ale or a cream ale.

Guys you might double check your bottles. Just opened one that was infected. I guess I missed one with the bottle brush or something, oh well lesson learned.
