I went into Wal Mart after I voted,,,
Found a lot of .22 ammo on the shelves.

Eight-325 round bulk packs of Federal Auto Match,,,
Are now in the trunk of my car.

Stopped into Atwood's just to see if they had any ammo,,,
No ammo but I did discover that they now carry my favorite target stand.

These ReVersa target stands have worked very well for me,,,
Mine are two years old now and have stood up to a lot of use.

Mine are the 52" versions,,,
I know they don't look like much,,,
But they hold any cardboard very well.

I just cut up a cardboard box,,,
Then tape, glue, or staple any paper target to it.

This stand holds them steady even in a stiff Oklahoma breeze.

Best target stands I've found

I'll hopefully be picking up a Walther PPS M2 LE (non-recall) later today. Hopefully it goes through and I'll have pics to share soon.

Ya big old tease..
Here you go Rocky!

I met up with the guy, and it was a pretty quick visit. All function tests were OK, so we did the deal and I went home. When I got here, I opened this puppy up, and man was she dirty. I mean DIRTY!!! A quick online lesson on how to do a full disassembly on the slide, 2 sonic baths, compressed air dry, and a little lube, and this baby is ready to go!!

I didn't take pics of the gun before it was cleaned. Mags weren't terrible, but I figured I might as well disassemble and thoroughly clean them as well:

Here's the pistol after the sonic cleaner and compressed air:

All lubed and assembled, ready to go!! She sure feels good in the hand. I'm going to try to get to a range tomorrow and put a box or two through it. My handloads pass the plunk test on this Walther barrel.

For the price I paid, I figure I couldn't really be upset about how dirty it was, but she is a looker now!!
