I'll be taking my Martin Saber Compound out for the first time monday morning. Gotta be at work by 8 so I will probably just be getting a feel for things until wednesday after work.
My trusty Bowtech Guardian...Was going to upgrade to a newer, lighter Bowtech but it just wasn't in the finances this year.

compound but i will not start hunting untill after muuzzle loader season.i do'nt like to spook them up before my teenage boys have a chance at them during youth and ML season unless i find a monster in his early fall habits but hav'nt seen any monsters on any of our places yet

In my opinion, the first week of bow season is your best bet to kill a good buck.. I think its easier than rut..bucks are bunched up and visible, they are on a bed to feed pattern daily.. Just have to have a good food source!!
