Im no expert and only owned German Shorthairs. Ive hunted with good English Setters, and Brittneys. Trained a couple Setters and a few Shorthairs. The GSP is hard to beat.

Thanks for all the input. Okie that's a great looking dog. I hadn't heard of the Drahtharr before today, but had found them while searching for a wire hair breeder. I will try to get in touch with you this weekend and would love to hear about them.
