I have one, I LOVE IT. Once you figure the sights out its awesome. I just killed two fiddlebacks under my bed that I couldn't reach the other night. I shoot flies and mosquitoes with it all the time.

What kind of range do you get?

I gave my dad a $10.00 Chinese pellet pistol,,,
He would cock it, pour a .22 LR case of salt in its muzzle,,,
And take out wasps on his back porch at distances up to 7-8 feet.



And you aren't taking advantage of that?

I have one, they are awesome! Too good though, we had a year where flies were everywhere and we couldn't figure out why so I ordered a Bug-A-Salt. The day it arrived I couldn't find a fly! It wasn't until the following summer that one actually showed up. It took a few shots to work the bugs out but after learning it's range and quirks there wasn't a fly in the area who didn't fear the yellow beast. I even downed a wasp with it! It took a couple shots to finish it off but it definitely put the odds in my favor and makes tagging bugs easy, especially in areas where they used to land out of reach.

It only has maybe a foot or two range but you can shoot it one handed and extend it way out there so range isn't an issue. Now when a fly shows up in our "no fly zone" we tag 'em and bag 'em. There's sometimes a squabble over who gets to shoot the bug but that's a good problem to have.

I have one and it is great, I was even able to shoot down a June bug in flight. Has been reliable and very fun to use.

I use my .22 shotshells for wood bees around the porch.
