I'm just asking questions to make people consider the whys and hows of gun laws. The question is designed to promote discussion.

I'll state that I think non-violent felonies shouldn't be prosecuted as such until 21, because all kids are stupid at some point...

But after 21, felony is felony. Anything to the contrary is like saying hunters/fishermen aren't responsible for knowing the rules... Ignorance is bliss, but ignorance cannot excuse crime.

So the enlistment/draft/voting age should be moved to 21 also, because kids are stupid and we can't trust them with multi-million dollar vehicles.

I know of a lady who just got out 6 months ago for a murder she was convicted of in 1996, was sentenced to 35 years, do you believe that debt is paid???

If she commited the murder, then no, her debt is not paid.

Beat me to it. Seems to be an assumption here that the system is perfect and there's never a wrongful conviction. Which would be nice, but....
