It was real ugly… But got a W, barely. Hope Tulane is real good, QB sure is. Big OU fan so hope they work the kinks out, like how to tackle. They always seem to play at the level of their opponents, so hoping for better.. FYI - a betting man could get rich taking opponent and +31 points.. I think next week is PPV - not! Radio time for me!Yes, it was Uggggly. They better tighten things up.
Why would it be another decade away ? They have complete team turnover about every 3 years so what is magic about a decade?OU to the SEC is going to turn into a giant cluster, they are not ready to compete at those levels. Grinch has numbered his days. IF you want to see how defense should be played look at Alabama, Georgia, or Clemson. OU is not going to be at the top until they have at least a top 10 defense (Which seems like its another decade away)
I think moving to the SEC, puts the Sooners on the radar of some 5 star D linemen, and other D players. They’ve been real close on getting commitments from some good ones recently. With Riley’s offense, they can, and will score, and always have QB’s and other offensive players committing. The Georgia/Clemson game last night = all D. And from the looks of it, OU now has one heck of a FG kicker. 3 over 50 yards! 1st Sooner K to ever do it, and tied National record. Bottom line - Sooners might do better than expected in SEC. ( going to be 4 division’s, so what teams will they play each year? ) Go OU! (apologize for length of msg)Why would it be another decade away ? They have complete team turnover about every 3 years so what is magic about a decade?
Never discount the Sooner's defense's ability to implode in the 2nd half!Sounds like I should have listened to the second half.
I'm sitting at work bored so I decided to listen to the game. By half time it sounded like it was a run away and I lost interest.
