*****in gun. How big is the grip compared to .45? I like the looks of that finish on a .45 as well. Shot it much? Give us a full report!
The grip is a tad longer front to rear than a standard 1911, and feels different for sure. Takes just a little while to get used to but not uncomfortable at all. I have longer fingers and it works for me. (BTW, the thin 1911 grips that are all the rage now are way too thin for me)
In shooting 158 grain full power loads ( a must for proper function),
I fired probably less than 100 rounds with zero malfunctions.
Recoil is somewhat different than my 45 Auto 1911s, kind of like a heavy push instead of the usual kick of the 45.
Pretty much all the ejected cases landed about 8-9' to right rear.
Can't remember as to relative accuracy.
I only remember that shooting the pistol was a blast.
Now I'll have to get out to the range again soon and shoot it some more.
It's not even broken in yet!
