I wonder why manufacturers don’t spend more time on mag-fed semi-auto shotguns. Those just seem a lot more practical than rotating mag tubes, and the overall package would be a lot more compact. Tromix S12 Saiga, anyone?

Revolving magazine tubes, three tubes, six rounds of 2 3/4” each? Close quarters fire superiority. Just need some hard cover for the reload process, I guess. Could imagine the opponent down range counting shots,”that’s it! He fired his six, rush him!”

I have a mag fed Akudal 1919 12 ga. It runs pretty good and is fun to shoot. I put a red dot on it and went to the trap range. Got a lot of real ugly looks but when those clay fly's, put that dot about 6" in front of it to smoke it...every time.
Next trip, red dots not allowed.
