Its a great read.

D Day was not the biggest invasion in history. The invasion of Okinawa was much larger.

It was a huge blood bath on both sides.

I do all of my reading on ebooks now.

I'll have to do a little search.

It depends on how you define it; there were significantly more craft involved in Operation Neptune (over 6,000 at Normandy (Source) vs. roughly 1,300 at Okinawa (Source)), but the initial landing force was larger at Okinawa (a shade more than 182,000 at Okinawa (source) vs. roughly 156,000 at Normandy (Source)).
