another Tulsa cracker probably wanted something that didn't belong to him..!!
Absolutely covered if the law is followed. If some liberal county prosecutor decides to go against the law and follow their political beliefs, it can become expensive. Oklahoma Castle doctrine says they are protected in a good shoot against civil lawsuits, but defending one self in a state sponsored trial can deplete life savings. Is this act of self defense clearly covered by Castle Doctrine? Homeowner told the intruder/trespasser/attacker to leave. Attacker wasn’t invited on to the property. No duty to retreat required of the property owner.
There was another home invader shot on the 9th. in Tulsa...Absolutely covered if the law is followed. That being said, the homeowner should be given a medal and front page in the news for taking that much abuse before following the law and defending himself.
I wonder what the back story is. I bet there is a long history between the two neighbors.I’m just honestly amazed that it happened in the first place. How does someone get so mad at their neighbor doing yard work that they attack them repeatedly with garden shears?
