Go find some wheat cleanings, guys should be having seed wheat cleaned now and there should be a bunch available. It's like $.03-$.05 per pound usually.
Clover is tough to maintain in Oklahoma. I tried for years in NW Ok to grow some, but finally got three wet summers in a row awhile back with a fantastic crop. But we are back in drought now, so no clover. Only fertilize clover with no nitrogen in the mix. They make their own.
Have disk and tiller.....will work for whisky!
Would that contain weed seeds? I don't know, I've never used wheat cleanings.
Not that I've encountered. Just high numbers of broken berries, so seed at a much higher rate than normal.

I wish I could have planted last weekend. This weather this week and forecast for next week looks great for kicking off food plots!
Got done with appointments about 3pm and headed to the 1st food plot.
