Lol ... I had a neighbor guy tell me one time that "You girls can get away with saying things that would get us guys' asses kicked." We have another guy neighbor (an elderly gentleman) who had been sick but refused to go to the doctor. I told him he didn't want me to call Adult Protective Services ...
But seriously ... he NEEDED to go. They kept him in the hospital a week ... pneumonia ... I have no doubt he'd have died in that house if he hadn't gone when he did. When he called me from the hospital he thanked me for "being that ***** his wife would have been ..." 
He's a sweetheart ... 
Aviator - if you have the time I'd love to see a short video of you doing the process. The jewel look is on my Mod 70 30-06 bolt. It looks really nice but didn't know what it is called, so thanks. Is this process usually only done on Stainless steel?
I'll get a vid posted. You can do this process on any metal that is in the white. No bluing etc.
