I haven't done it but have read that cow manure from the pasture will be full of seeds that will grow in your garden. Most have regretted using it. ( just from what I have read on the interwebs)
I had a garden in sandy loam and put a pickup load of manure in it and Okra was up to 8-9 ft, cucumbers all over he place, tomatoes etc. This was years ago but I remember crawling under all the growth to harvest vegetables. I had so much that I was ging produce to all the neighbors. It was really something but I see where you are coming from.

Things are not the same. Iv consulted many whom added straight manure to their soil and ruined it for up to a decade. Too many chemicals.

I have a small area with mostly clay that I've been throwing vegetable scraps in the last couple of years in the hope that I can plant something that will grow well. This red clay won't grow much without adding nutrients so I'm going to sneak over some nearby farmer's place that has cattle and steal some manure. That always makes for a good crop.
Good crop of weeds. My buddy thought the same and had a semi of fresh cow manure delivered and dumped on his garden which was a sandy loam soil. The garden grew well, but every weed in the pasture came up and finally overran the garden.
Mulched and applied is another thing.

Very nice setup, I wish I still had the ability to do one.
I'm almost 60 yrs old with a 72% permanent disability rating . I have to pick and choose what I do every day. The containers and greenhouse's make it easier. But I started this type of gardening 14 years ago. It's pretty simplistic .

Planted 3 rows of potatoes before the rain. Plowed the furrows with a middle buster attached to the 1948 Farmall super A with components to make a 3 point hitch. Used the front cultivators to cover them.

Before I had equipment I used a grub hoe to make furrows and cover them up.
