I am the process of liquidating tons, I mean tons, of various ham radio equipment that belong to invalid family member. I have probably the equivalent of 2 semi truckloads or more. There is easily enough to fill a warehouse. They are stored in multiple locations. Many are collectors items, some may be junk. I'll be working on liquidation in the next month or so. Where do I start? Anyone with a lot of time that may want to work as a consultant?

These are only a small portion of what I have.

Best place is over on qrz.com, which is a big ham site. You might let us pick over it here before you post it there, just to be nice. 😁

There are several amateur radio operators i. e. Hams in this forum. You might start by posting a picture of the collection of equipment to gauge interest. Also it always helps to know the condition of equipment if possible, and does it contain obnoxious odors such as cigarette smoke. In my experience equipment form the 80s and 90 is the least valuable. JBs analog bought a large collection of 80s ham radio equipment and it set on the shelves for a year or two. I don't know what he did with it. Older is collectible and newer is modern enough for everyday use. If you have a weekend to spare hamfests can be good to unload large amounts of gear. https://ok.arrl.org/hamfests/ Ebay sold listings can give you high end of what equipment goes for. Of course everyone wants to pay less, because the cheapest thing in the ham shack is the operator hi hi. I am a general class amateur radio operator and you can DM if you need some questions answered. Also you could consider getting licensed and putting some of the equipment to use

Ham Holiday, OKC’s largest Hamfest is coming-up July 26th and 27th. It’s described as “A hamfest is a meeting of people interested in Amateur Radio. Hamfests offer exhibits, forums, and fleamarkets for Amateur Radio operators or “hams.”. You could get a table and likely move a bunch of the equipment. Admission is $10 and a vendor table is $15.
