LOL kids get suspended for pop tart guns, and he has an HK poster on his wall??
I am not military, I know blue means inert. smh

Guy was probably just following protocol set down by the dumbed down school administration. Schools are trying to make kids so scared of anything gun related. Guns, bullets anything 2nd amendment related.
Seriously?!? You are admitting to knowing this clown!!!
Call him out on it
Because we have video of the school employee saying the dumb **** he was credited with having said.
yes, and why does that cause you a problem?????
This guy is ex-military and an ex-cop, and he is currently a "security officer" at a middle school. Protocol or not, he should be the "expert" on safety and security on that campus, and in my opinion, he should be the voice of reason and not the boy who cried wolf.
To weigh in a little in the guy's defense. Former Marine or LEO aside, the only people who are experts when it comes to ordnance are bomb disposal/EOD guys, and even they will err on the side of caution.
Anyone can paint a projectile blue...that doesn't mean it is inert. 20MM comes in HE, Incendiary and plenty of other combos. More than a few idiots have tried to bring them home from the theater...
I don't want some guy who was a Marine more than a decade ago deciding what is or isn't inert if something is found at my kids school. The voice of reason in this case is the guy that says, I'm not qualified to determine if that round is inert, lets get the pros in here.
Kind of reminds me of this...
