Found this little guy while cleaning out a rental house only marks on it say haus knife works I’ve never seen one like it before hoping someone could tell me more about it thanks

I bought one as a kit about 10 years ago from I believe Dixie Gun Works or a similar website.

When black powder shooters load their guns,they put their ball on a piece of cloth to push down the barrel and seal the load. Most use strips of cloth and push the ball just below the end of the barrel and use a patch knife to trim the cloth to size.
