A fiery-arm doesn't need to be beautiful to please me,,,
But it sure needs to "not" make me wince when I see it on a rack.

That said I have guns ranging from lovely CZ's and Beretta Cheetah series pistols,,,
To an absolutely butt-ugly Hi-Point carbine that's a great shooter.

When I ordered that Hi-Point the company was just transitioning,,,
From the "Planet of the Apes" version to the Tactical version.

I contacted budsgunshop and they assured me they had a Planet of the Apes model,,,
Most people considered them to be butt-ugly but I liked their simplicity.

Imagine my dismay when I received the tactical version,,,
I called buds from my local gun shop to complain,,,
They said they were sorry for the mix-up,,,
But there wasn't a thing they could do.

So I got stuck with an ugly fiery-arm,,,
That shoots beautifully,,,
So I don't care.

Aarond

P.S. If anyone has a planet of the apes model and wants a tactical model,,,
Shoot me a message and let's see if we can work a deal.

Quote: I'm ugly as **** & never stopped me from buying a gun.
Was gonna say....but if the seller, herself, was drop dead beautiful- it might 'sweeten' the deal,
(Not that that EVER happened).
To ME, anyway. But I might be grateful I took time to shave, comb, & wear shoes;

Yeah, just tools for self defense...like the Medieval armor of Yore....
OK, OK....Admittedly, this is likely one o' them purpose-built 'BBQ Harnesses'.....

The older I get, the more aesthetics mean to me. Used be that function was all that mattered. Now days, I care just as much about how it looks and have strongly biased opinions about it but I also have no opinion about what someone else likes.
Tactical lever guns are an example. Not for me. If you like them....fine. ARs...I do have some but their looks do nothing for me. If have to thin the herd, they'd be the first thing to go.

I have purchased 1 pistol based on looks alone, a P210c I got from another member. It's not very practical, but then again a single stack 9mm 1911 or Luger isn't either. I think it's irresistibly good looking.
