I’ll say the same thing I told the hippie standing out front of Whole Foods wanting me to sign a petition to stop genetically modified food. “I like my food genetically modified.” Not sure why without a gripe we can breed dogs, cats, pigs and cows with others of their kind to bring out certain traits but when we breed (pollinate) a tomato with another to make it more red or insect resistant it’s somehow ethically a bad thing. You like your little dog or kitty cat? We all know good well a 5 pound dog ain’t natural.

I try really hard to avoid sweets as much as possible, but my chubby wife keeps the house stocked with the crap for her stresss eating because of her job. When it’s readily available, it makes avoidance really difficult.
