My inner glock has struggled with this for a couple of years. I have almost bought them several times and always ended up back with glock. I finally gave in and pick up a M&P 9 performance center. I have to say I'm impressed with it. I already have Dawson black rear and fiber optic front sights ordered for it. I won't be running and RMR or suppressor yet, so I wanted the lower profile sights. It will fit in nicely with my CZ P09 and the old trusty glocks.
That's a nice pistol there pal. I took the "new to me" M&P 22 Compact out today and man does it shoot nice. Funny; I was switching back and forth from a Walther PPK/S, a 1911-22, the M&P, and a Glock 26 and grip-angle-schmip-angle; them bowling pins were swingin'! I have found that if I line up the sights on the target and cause the trigger to be pressed straight to the rear without disturbing that image, then the boolets purty much go where I want them to. Purty much. Not exactly perfectly, but purty much. Minute of bowling pin anyway.
Thanks. That's just not something I'm worried about. Again, the grip angle does not bother me, I have shot plenty of other pistols.
How was the new 22? Any major malfunctions or just normal 22 malfunctions?
No deciding for the run and gun. The M&P will go.
I'm not sure what he does, I bought this gun from another member and it has been to Mike at accurate iron and had the reset mod done to it. It's nowhere near what a glock reset it, but it's a lot better than factory.
I was about to say if it came from the factory with them port cutouts on the slide but then I say this. You have a nice pistol good sir!
I've been kinda' skeptical since my last M&P (besides my Shield) so I haven't really though about them.
When you get to shoot this, lemme' know how she does for you!
I've been thinking about the 5" C.O.R.E. model in .40S&W as like a "back-up" competition gun or if I get bored with my 35 I could change it up a lil.
