I thought you meant Levis. Unlike Ruger Levis quality has gone off a cliff. Their formerly rugged fabric has been replaced with compressed and dyed toilet paper.

I bought this 186-XXXX years ago and it produces fist size or a little smaller groups at 50 yards which is all I need it to do and for $250 it was a good deal. The guy I bought it from had sold it just before to someone that said it “malfunctioned” so he took it back and wanted to sell it quickly as he needed the cash. I found out what I believe to be the issue which was/is you can get a round cocked a bit in the magazine and if you do every other round after will be canted as well and the rifle won’t function. Since learning what to look for I’ve never had an issue with this rifle and am really happy with the gun. Recently added the Samson stock and it’s now become my truck gun.
