Beside the obvious... where are all the fat people we see in crowds these days?
And which one of our current candidates would stand on a rickety stool like that?

They didn't invent fat people until the 80's. Seriously. I said the same thing when my mom was doing a history thing for her church, and I went over to her house and looked at all the pictures of the congregation from the 50's and 60's. I couldn't find any fat people. The modern directory, you can hardly find a non-obese person. Same town.

The Secret Service must have been stuck in Virgina that day... West VA is a whole nuther planet.
And yes... fat people were not invented till the 80's. The only heavy people I knew when I was a kid were pretty much elderly folks..
I have read that not to many years ago... basic housework (in town) was about the same as a 2 mile walk...maybe that's how people lived so long smoking and eating a "bad" diet compared to now days?
