Lancaster Arms outta AZ???

Anyone have first or second-hand experience with these weapons?

I don't know, they seem kind of high to me. I am seeing WASR 10's for around $549, unless these are special. They are about $50 too high on their Saiga's too. I got to be honest, when the ARs that they are selling are Armalite and Olympic, it makes me wonder about the rest of their guns.

Is Armalite bad?

I was told they made a good AK, but don't take my word for it.

At first look (google) is seems there are some mixed feelings / reviews.

No, not necessarily, but if that is the top of the line guns that they carry, it makes me wonder. I don't have a bad opinion of them necessarily, I just think there are some better options out there.

Check out the AK-47 page on ar15.com. Lancaster has a pretty good reputation of putting together some nice AKs if you want better fitting and accuracy that you're basic WASRs.

I was looking at the Bulgarian "Rough Rider" for 499

I've enjoyed mine. Haven't had any problems with it, but I've only put a few hundred rounds through it. Don't really expect any problems though, seems quite solid.
