Went scouting today for turkey at Lexington and it was tough going. Didn't hear a single gobble...no feathers...a couple of hen droppings which were pretty old...found some tracks, but again not sure how old they were.
There are no turkeys at Lexington. They all were eaten by....uh, chupacabras. Yep.
I've had better luck with public turkey hunting south and east.
South and east in Oklahoma...or south and east at Lex? Haha. Most of my scouting was actually on the southeast side of the WMA.
