Have you seen Eastern Oklahoma deer? They just don't compare. Except for McAlester, they are freaks there...

Just got back from there. Great racks, but not one of the bigguns taken last year got over 150 lbs according to what I saw in the headquarters building.

Like you said, the ROAD HUNTING MAGGOTS GOT THIS ONE BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE COULD!
We found his carcass with a bullet wound in his hind quarter, opening day of pheasant season. Along with othere carcasses and such when shed hunting in the spring.

At least the landowner gave it the respect it deserved by having the rack mounted.

It was well over 200 lbs field dressed....Great buck taken last season by a coach in Blackwell
