As long there's homo sapien and the means to cover radius, there will always be things like these happening all around the world, whether or not the government restricts people's access to firearms, they will find ways, but it's better to live in a world with access to firearms vs no firearms, at least then, the good people have a fighting chance against domestic violence.
If the perps really wanted a body count a vehicle would have made a better weapon.
Be interesting to see if it was planned or was a shootout between another group/person when innocent were trapped in a crossfire.
That area was unsafe 15 years ago when we ate at the Hereford house which is next to the train station. Armed guards were stationed in the parking lot.
Have no idea if it’s still at that location which was the original home for that restaurant.

Should have used my sarcasm font. I guarantee the shooters already have criminal records with little or no time served. You can bet the firearms used were not legally owned.
