Mosin, ammo prices would almost pay for the rifle compared to a Mauser, Germans didn't have too much luck with their Mausers against 2 million Mosins!

I love both rifles, But Mausers seem allot more fun to shoot. My VZ24 is a very fun rifle to shoot. My 7x57 is beautiful and a tack driver. I miss my guns now

Been, seems I remember that your 7mm Mauser had a bit of work done to it. Picked it up at a gun show or something didn't you? Show me yours and I'll show you mine....

Food for thought. .. is the Indian Enfield. They are .308 and very affordable and not to bad of a shooter.Plus they also have detachable mags
