but yeah, sometimes it's fun to view threads from way back in the day on what to buy versus what not. people saying x was a ridiculous price, etc.

Same here. Someone will pm me with a deal after seeing some post about a wish list or something to see if I'm interested before it goes public.
They want to sell it at normal prices and know I'll use it as intended and not be resold.

Good point. Works for all sorts of things. Want to buy section works for that too. I will contact people and offer them real deals just because it’s easy.
