Decided to get some new stock . One variety is supposed to be seedless. You can't plant muscadines near grapes as they will cross pollinate and the muscadine is dominant. You'll get something that looks like a grape but will be a muscadine inside.
Isons nursery in GeorgiaWhere did you get the vines?
If you can see them they are too close and maybe farther than that. What qualifies as "near"? Within 10-20 feet? Or in the same yard? I've been thinking about some muscadines but I have a concord that started producing. Or am I setting myself up for Concodines?
Purchased as bare root vines. Are you rooting them?
IIRC Concord is already a European grape Muscatine hybrid. What qualifies as "near"? Within 10-20 feet? Or in the same yard? I've been thinking about some muscadines but I have a concord that started producing. Or am I setting myself up for Concodines?
