I doubt I'll dove hunt there. Too much overgrowth to even find one. Its going to be great deer hunting though.

Spent 32 hours out of the last 48 on another place that had a few dove earlier on the wheat stubble, but was also overgrown. I've got half of the 65 acres brush hogged. Two more days, and it will be done. Saw a few dove coming in already. That field has never had a lot of dove, but there are more today than I've ever seen in the past.

I'm not seeing a lot of dove on the high lines anywhere in my area.

That's going to be runoff rain. I'll bet the pond project is filled up just in time for deer season.:hyper:

When I was putting in the food plot last week, I took the front loader and pushed the sunflowers down and out of the way from the edge of the food plot to as far down the bank as I could.
