Gee Jeff, seems like your wife wanted another 'baby' and now realizes what a heap of work that is. Now because it's 'too much' she/you want to push the 'baby' out the door.

I agree with CHenry, buttercup.

I know, we have two dogs, two cats, two kids, full time job, full time school, etc. I tried to talk my wife out of it in the beginning. Now she sees taking care of a puppy, baby, school, work, is too much. Anyone interested?
Seems like something that might should have been considered BEFORE you got a new dog

I think it's quite appropriate. Might give him an idea of how the dog feels when his owner gives him away.

He's NOT giving the dog away; he wants a $50.00 "re-homing" fee. Makes a difference you know. I'll tell you what: You send me $50.00 and I'll keep the dog I already have.
