Meh. If people got nothing better to do than try to dig up dirt, then you can't stop them. Like you said... surround yourself with people who don't drag you down. I also have nothing against most of the ones over there, hell I don't even know who is over there. But I got enough drama IRL to not need to get caught up in more.

Did they give you one of those electro-knee bending machines? My better half had a TKR done a few yards back and she had to use that gizmo for it seems like several hours a day so her knee wouldn't be all stiff. That, and the PT got her up and moving pretty quick. Good luck with the recovery.

BTO is better in some ways.
Here's a little slice of reality: this place ain't the place it was back in the day but things change and most everybody has the psychological capacity to deal with a new reality. Others moved on for their own reasons and I'm OK with that. I checked out BTO a couple of times and didn't find any value over there so I didn't bother with joining. For the most part, I stopped trying to live my life through groups sometime not long after adolescence. If that's where the "cool kids" are, then I'm glad for them. I'm comfortable enough in my own skin right here.
They tell me that I'll be sent home with the gizmo. I'm motivated to recover quickly. SHOT Show in January and then the other knee next spring.
Remember not to feed it after midnight.
