Dunno, never played with one, and for some reason, just never caught my eye. ??? No real reason.

trajectory track is more of an arc than a line, but round hits hard, just not a long range gun...think that is why they called it a brush gun more than anything. It is great for brush type hunting and ranges.
Go with the leverworks and have it personalized - makes it more of a rifle that gets handed down to the next generation
Even better!!
I was actually thinking about getting my name or initials engraved on the left side of the receiver.
ONLY!! I say ONLY if your not going to part with it!!!!!!
Sorry couldn't resist!
Lever Gunleather and don't look back. Get it customized and hold onto it.
I have to Marlin .30-30's and just picked up a Marlin 1895G. the 1895G is going to get a sling from them and possibly a butt cuff.
The OTASCO 336 rifle I have will more than likely get a butt cuff and sling from them once I get the stock I have for it refinished.
Not a fan of the "Duke" large loops. Don't know why, I just don't care for them. The slightly enlarged levers are catching my interest for winter work with gloves.
GED: I ran 5 different brands through my .30-30 earlier this month at Banner. the Remington Core-lok and Hornady LeverEvolution ammo performed best at 100yds. I need to get out to 150 or 200 to see which works better. the LE ammo flyes in a flatter trajectery. that balistic tip helps stretch out the range. This year I may load up Hornady LE ammo and give it a go.
