I think lots of steroids help him out with that.
Most of season 1 was filmed in OKC, some in Tulsa. Some of the cast would mingle with others working on the set and act normal, but Sty would go straight to his RV and wouldn't come out unless filming and paid someone to walk and take care of his rottweiler.
